Nebula New Best Team | Hero Wars Alliance
After a weekend buried in sandbox tests, formation swaps and far too much coffee, we finally have our Nebula New Best Team picks — and honestly, the reworked Nebula surprised us. Her rework, paired with her brand-new Relics, quietly turns her from a niche pick into a flexible support that slots into several very different lineups. Before we dive in, though, one important caveat: everything below is based on Relics up to Legendary Level 10, because that is exactly what we have tested so far. We are not drawing conclusions about higher levels until we get proper hands-on time with them.
These are also not “the three objectively best teams in the game” — Hero Wars: Alliance simply does not work that way. Instead, think of them as three proven directions from our testing that each show how far the renewed Nebula can now stretch.
What Nebula’s Rework Actually Changed
Before comparing rosters, it helps to understand why Nebula suddenly fits so many compositions. Three abilities do most of the heavy lifting, and once you know what they do, the team-building logic becomes far clearer.
With those three tools in mind, every Nebula New Best Team below starts to make sense — each one leans on a different piece of that kit.
Team 1 — Yasmine, Dante, Nebula, Iris & Octavia (Dodge Pressure)
Our first lineup leans into an aggressive Dodge core, and it immediately caught our attention because plenty of Guardians have been running Byrna in a similar slot. After the rework, however, Nebula can now fill that role for the right matchup — which quietly frees Byrna up for a completely different line. In Global Championship, that kind of flexibility is worth a lot.
Yasmine drives the pressure from the front, while Octavia reinforces the Dodge structure around Yasmine and Dante to keep the team’s momentum rolling. Then comes one of our favourite new interactions: Dante strips enemy Main Stats at the same moment Nebula’s Power of Balance temporarily lifts the Main Stat of her nearest allies. You are effectively weakening their side while strengthening your own, on a rolling timer.
Behind Nebula sits Iris, and that placement matters. Disharmony hands Iris the extra Movement and Skill Recharge Speed she craves, plus DoT protection during the burst, giving the team a second and completely independent damage source through mechanics like Inner Fire instead of relying entirely on Yasmine and Dante. Once Serenity comes online at Relic Level 10, the whole squad also gains a heal and cleanse, which keeps this fast-but-fragile structure alive.
All told, Team 1 delivers Dodge, mixed pressure, Main Stat manipulation, acceleration, cleanse and — potentially — that hugely valuable option of freeing Byrna for another line entirely.
Team 2 — Drayne, Alvanor, Nebula, Soleil & Polaris (Setup for the Finisher)
Where the first squad races out of the gate, our second team plays the long game — and it might just be the favourite of the three. Here, Drayne is the beast lurking behind everything the other four heroes set up.
Up front, Alvanor provides sustain and strong protection against Magic Damage. Nebula then takes a genuinely interesting middle slot, since Disharmony accelerates both her and the allies stacked behind her. Those allies are Soleil and Polaris, and together they cause constant problems: Soleil handles stat manipulation and disruption, while Polaris layers on control, stuns and sustained Damage over Time. As a result, you are perpetually interfering with the enemy while chipping their Health down.
On top of all that, Nebula contributes Power of Balance, her Attack support and — at Relic Level 10 — the same team-wide heal and cleanse. Meanwhile, Drayne simply waits. The rest of the team lowers Health and breaks the enemy’s rhythm, and once the conditions are right, Drayne drops Final Verdict as the finisher. That is precisely why this lineup stood out: Nebula is not parked in the back handing out a single buff, she is one moving part in a machine built to hand Drayne the exact battlefield he wants.
In short, Team 2 blends sustain, control, DoT and disruption purely to manufacture the moment Drayne needs.
Team 3 — Satori, Nebula, Cascade, Aidan & Miu (Magic Overload)
Our final direction shifts fully into magic, and it spreads the threat around so cleverly that the enemy cannot simply tunnel one target. Satori supplies a major threat, yet he no longer has to shoulder the entire load alone.
Cascade brings damage and disruption, tearing into the enemy formation and opening gaps for everyone else. Aidan then supplies the sustain that keeps this unusual structure ticking, while Miu piles on a second Magic Damage threat, so the opponent cannot pour everything into shutting Satori down. Nebula sits right in the middle of these pieces and ties them together. Her Attack support becomes especially valuable around heroes that scale with Magic Attack, Power of Balance keeps topping up nearby allies’ Main Stat, and Disharmony delivers that five-second speed burst plus temporary DoT protection. At Relic Level 10, Serenity rounds it all out with another heal and cleanse.
Ultimately, Satori pressures, Cascade disrupts, Miu threatens, Aidan sustains, and Nebula connects the whole thing into one coherent magic package.
Which Nebula New Best Team Should You Run?
Honestly, there is no single winner here — that was never the goal. Each lineup answers a different question. Pick Team 1 when you want aggressive Dodge and mixed pressure, especially if freeing up Byrna for another defence helps your Global Championship planning. Reach for Team 2 when you would rather stack sustain, control, DoT and disruption to tee up a Drayne finish. Go with Team 3 when you want a multi-threat magic composition that refuses to fold to single-target focus. Whichever Nebula New Best Team you lean toward, the reworked Nebula finally gives you something she never used to offer: real, flexible options.
Final Thoughts
That was the big takeaway from our weekend. We were not hunting for one perfect answer; we wanted to see what the renewed Nebula could unlock — and she delivered variety. Remember, this is only our first weekend of testing, and we are deliberately capping everything at Relic Level 10 until we have proper experience with the higher tiers. Even so, the new Nebula has already handed us the most valuable thing you can bring into Global Championship: another option. Sometimes that is exactly what wins the battle.
Stay tuned, stay sharp, and as always — salute and friendship.
