What Are the Hero Wars EVA Generators?
The Hero Wars EVA Generators are the engine of the entire EVA event — there are five of them, each producing a different type of resource on a fixed cycle throughout the event:
- Great Enchantment Runes — produces every 3 hours
- Large Skin Stone Chests — produces every 6 hours
- Bottled Energy — produces every 12 hours
- Valor Coins — produces every 8 hours
- Absolute Artifact Chests — produces every 3 hours
Each generator activates on a different day between September 24 and September 28, with all five ending on October 1. Because generators activate at different times, they each have a different number of available cycles — ranging from 56 cycles for Great Enchantment Runes down to just 10 cycles for Bottled Energy. The stage you choose directly determines how much of that resource you collect across the entire event. A generator left at Stage I will produce a fraction of what a maxed Stage V generator delivers — making your upgrade decisions critical.
How Hero Wars EVA Generator Upgrades Work
Unlike the Byrna event, EVA generator upgrades are paid almost entirely in Emeralds — four of the five generators use Emeralds for every stage from I through V. The one exception is Bottled Energy, which is upgraded with Valor Coins instead.
This structure changes how you plan. Emeralds are a premium currency, so every stage you buy is a real investment — the question is not just “can I afford it” but “is this the best use of my Emeralds.” Meanwhile, the Valor Coin generator produces the very currency that upgrades Bottled Energy, so activating it early effectively feeds your Bottled Energy upgrades. If you push the Valor Coin generator when it unlocks on September 27, the coins it produces can offset part of the 76,000 Valor Coin cost of a maxed Bottled Energy generator.
Note that all rewards and costs shown in-game (and in the tables below) are cumulative — Stage V numbers show the total production over the generator’s full runtime and the total cost from Stage 0, not per-stage amounts.

How to Use the Hero Wars EVA Generators Planner
The EVA Generator Planner is straightforward to use. Each of the five generators has its own card showing the cycle time, activation date, and total number of cycles available. Use the stage selector buttons — OFF, I, II, III, IV, V — to set the stage you plan to upgrade each generator to.
As you set each stage, the card immediately shows you:
- Per cycle production at that stage
- Total production over the generator’s active period
- Cumulative upgrade cost in Emeralds (or Valor Coins for Bottled Energy) to reach that stage
- Next stage cost so you can decide whether the extra investment is worth it
The summary dashboard at the top tracks your total Emerald and Valor Coin spend across all generators at a glance, along with total cycles and how many generators you have maxed.
The Investment Summary at the bottom gives you a full per-generator breakdown alongside the grand total — making it easy to see whether your current plan is within your Emerald budget or whether you need to scale back somewhere.
Saving and Sharing Your Setup
Once you have a plan you are happy with, hit Save Progress to store your generator stages in your browser for next time. You can also use Share Setup to generate a URL that encodes your current configuration — useful for sharing strategies with guildmates or comparing plans before the event starts.
Plan Before the Generators Go Live
Each EVA event generator goes live on a specific day, so the earlier generators give you more time to collect but also require faster upgrade decisions. The Great Enchantment Rune generator is both the first to unlock and the cheapest to start — its Stage I costs just 1,000 Emeralds, a fraction of what the other generators charge. Use this planner now to lock in your approach to the Hero Wars EVA Generators, figure out exactly how many Emeralds you need, and decide which generators deserve the highest investment for your playstyle. Whether you are chasing Absolute Artifacts, stacking Skin Stones, or pushing Great Enchantment Runes, knowing your numbers in advance is always the stronger play.
