Grand Caravan Best Strategy 2026

Grand Caravan Best Strategy

If you want the Grand Caravan best strategy for Hero Wars Alliance without burning through your account, you’re in the right place. Grand Caravan is the second event in the Bountiful Roads chain, right after Roads Unlocked, and it feeds directly into the Exchange Sigils you’ll spend in the Bountiful Roads shop.

As always, we’re looking at this event mainly from a Free to Play perspective. In other words, we aren’t chasing the theoretical maximum by assuming huge Emerald spending, VIP points or massive resource stockpiles. Instead, the goal is a realistic target that most active players can actually reach. Of course, if you have more resources and want to push further, you can earn more Exchange Sigils and other rewards — that choice is entirely yours.

The Seven Grand Caravan Tasks

Grand Caravan has seven event tasks: Log In, Generous Soul, Wise Exchange, Artifacts Empowering, Sealed Away, Trial of Strength and Tactical Losses. On top of that, the Bountiful Roads tab holds extra Grand Caravan rewards based on how many tasks you’ve completed in total. We break those milestone rewards down in our Bountiful Roads F2P guide, so here we’ll focus on the tasks themselves.

Grand Caravan Best Strategy: Aim for 42 Completed Tasks

For our calculations, one number matters most: 42 completed tasks. We believe 42 is both achievable and worthwhile for a Free to Play player. Therefore, every recommendation below is built around reaching roughly that point without wasting valuable resources.

Task Requirement F2P Target
Log In Log in daily All 7 days
Generous Soul Earn VIP points 0 (anything extra is a bonus)
Wise Exchange Spend Emeralds ~1,000 Emeralds
Artifacts Empowering Spend up to 60,000 Artifact Coins Complete (60,000)
Sealed Away Open Artifact Chests ~40 chests
Trial of Strength Up to 30 Arena attacks All 30
Tactical Losses Up to 50,000 Realm troop losses ~10,000

Now let’s walk through each task and explain why we landed on these targets.

Task-by-Task Breakdown

Nothing complicated here. Simply log into the game every day for seven days and collect the rewards. It’s easy progression, and absolutely something everyone should complete.

Generous Soul

Generous Soul requires VIP points. For our Free to Play calculation, we’re assuming zero VIP points, so anything you earn here is extra progression on top of our baseline.

Wise Exchange

This is where Emerald spending enters the event. For a Free to Play player, we think around 1,000 Emeralds spent is a reasonable baseline.

However, this task gets more interesting because of the Bountiful Roads shop. If there’s a Talisman or another reward there that you genuinely want, you can use the reward box on the right side of the screen to spend Emeralds and top up your Exchange Sigils. In that case, your Wise Exchange progress could naturally go well beyond our 1,000-Emerald baseline. Still, that decision should depend on what you actually want from the shop.

There’s also one very important reward inside this task chain: Cornelius’ second Talisman unlocks once you reach 100,000 Emeralds spent. This is where we need to separate availability from value. Cornelius is currently a mid-tier hero, and in our opinion, spending 100,000 Emeralds just to get this Talisman isn’t worth it. If you were already planning to spend that many Emeralds for completely different reasons, that’s your call. Otherwise, chasing this Talisman alone is very hard to justify.

Artifacts Empowering

This task asks you to spend up to 60,000 Artifact Coins. Unlike some of the other requirements, this one is realistic for many active players, so our calculation assumes you complete it.

That said, don’t spend resources randomly just because an event asks for it. If you’re currently developing a specific hero, put those Artifact Coins toward that hero. On the other hand, if you aren’t working on anyone in particular, the generic Artifact Rings are a solid option. There are only three types, one for each main stat, and because they’re used across so many heroes, you’ll very likely need them sooner or later.

Sealed Away

Sealed Away requires opening Artifact Chests, and it’s hard to give a universal recommendation here. We very recently had another event that asked for up to 280 Artifact Chest openings. As a result, some players still have plenty of Artifact Keys, while others have spent almost everything.

Because of that, we think stopping at around 40 Artifact Chest openings is a sensible Free to Play reference. Naturally, if you’re sitting on a big stockpile of Keys and see value in going further, you can. However, we don’t want to build our baseline around resources that many players already used in the previous event.

Trial of Strength

This is the Arena task, requiring up to 30 Arena attacks during the event. Arena is interesting because, while extra attacks can cost Emeralds, climbing the rankings also pays Emeralds back. Plus, at the start of a new season, many players will want to climb anyway.

For reference, reaching Champions 2 returns 1,000 Emeralds per day, while even Champions 1 gives 300 Emeralds daily. So we believe all 30 attacks are reasonable within a Free to Play budget across seven days — especially if you spread them throughout the event instead of doing everything at once.

Tactical Losses

Tactical Losses is one of the newer task types, and it requires up to 50,000 of your Realm troops to die. That’s a huge number, especially since we had a similar requirement only last week. Unfortunately, the rewards from this task aren’t particularly attractive either, so there’s no strong reason to deliberately sacrifice enormous numbers of troops just to max out this tab.

Instead, our approach is much more conservative. Keep doing your normal Realm activities and complete your ten Boss Raids. In addition, if you join PvP attacks for Guild Versus on Day 6, you’ll naturally pick up extra troop losses there. With that approach, roughly 10,000 Tactical Losses across the week is a reasonable reference point, and that’s what we use in our calculation.

Final Rewards With the F2P Approach

Following this Grand Caravan best strategy and targeting around 42 completed tasks, our calculation lands on the following rewards:

Reward F2P Total
Exchange Sigils 8,650
Adventure Coins 20,600
Season Pass Trophies 230

Once again, this isn’t the theoretical maximum. We’re assuming zero VIP points, only 1,000 Emeralds for Wise Exchange, around 40 Artifact Chest openings, and definitely not sacrificing 50,000 Realm troops to finish Tactical Losses. Of course, if you have extra resources and pushing further gives your account good value, there’s more progression available. Ultimately, our goal is to give you a realistic reference first and let you make that decision yourself.

Keep Your Exchange Sigils Safe

With Roads Unlocked and Grand Caravan covered, two pieces of the Bountiful Roads puzzle are now in place. Next comes the shop itself, where several Talismans and other important rewards compete for your Exchange Sigils. That’s where the real decisions happen, so check our full Bountiful Roads F2P guide for overall progression, rewards and what’s actually worth buying.

Overall, the Grand Caravan best strategy is simple: complete the easy tasks, stay sensible on the expensive ones, and hold onto your Sigils until you know exactly what deserves them.
