Eva Event Optimizer | Freedom Protocol 2026

The Eva Event Optimizer helps you plan every crystal of energy, every Valor Coin and every Altar spin in the Freedom Protocol event before you commit a single resource. Eva arrives with a reworked event structure, so the old Path of Legends numbers no longer apply. There are now six chapters instead of seven, only Chapter 1 is free, and a brand-new relic, the Amulet of Battle, decides which chapters you can open.

Because of that, the calculator above was rebuilt from scratch. It tracks your energy, relic upgrades, chapter unlocks, Valor Coins, Sapphire Medallions and finally the star level you can reach for Eva. Below, you will find every number it uses, plus a few planning tips that the raw tables do not show. For the battles themselves, check our Freedom Protocol adventure guide.

Fixed Energy Sources in the Eva Event Optimizer

Every player gets a guaranteed pool of energy from quests that cost nothing but time. Together, these add up to 424 energy, and the optimizer counts them automatically:

*The Archdemon’s 60 energy needs 750M total damage, which not every account can reach. That is why it has its own dropdown in the calculator. It is set to 750M by default, so if your team falls short, pick the tier you can actually hit.

On top of that, the developers are sending 3 gifts across the event. Each one carries 16 energy and 8,500 Valor Coins, while the medallions total 5 across all three. As a result, all three gifts add 48 energy, 25,500 Valor Coins and 5 medallions.

Buying the Battle Pass adds another 150 energy and 20 Sapphire Medallions. It also grants 1,600 VIP points instantly, which completes the first three Trail of the Chosen tiers for an extra 18 energy.

Example: Free energy plus all 3 gifts gives you 472 energy, which is enough for Chapter 4. Adding the Battle Pass raises that to 640 (424 + 48 + 150 + 18), so Chapter 5 opens. However, Chapter 6 needs 790 energy in the Amulet, which means you still need 150 more from emeralds, medallions or VIP points.

Amulet of Battle and Chapter Unlocks

This is the biggest change in the Freedom Protocol event. Instead of paying energy to enter each chapter, you pour energy into the Amulet of Battle, and chapters unlock as the relic levels up. The Amulet also boosts attack, defense and energy gain in every event battle.

Past level 25, the Amulet keeps going up to level 50 for a total of 1,630 energy. Those extra 840 crystals only add battle stats, yet they still earn Tome of Greed coins, so they are not wasted. The optimizer handles this for you. By default, it picks the lowest Amulet level that unlocks the highest chapter your energy can afford, and it updates as you add gifts or spending. If you prefer a different level, simply pick one by hand, then press Highest chapter (auto) to switch back.

Emerald Flow Rewards

Spending emeralds is one of the most reliable ways to add energy. The rewards are cumulative, so each tier includes everything from the tiers before it:

Reaching the full 150,000 emeralds adds 90 energy. If you are planning a big spend anyway, it is worth timing it with an Emerald Waterfalls event so the same emeralds count twice.

Sapphire Fever: Medallion Spending

Sapphire Fever pays 1 energy for every medallion you spend, up to 100 medallions. Unlike Path of Legends, there are no 120 or 150 tiers this time, so the cap is 100 energy.

Keep in mind that you have to earn those medallions first. The calculator therefore warns you if the Sapphire Fever tier you picked is higher than the medallions your setup actually produces.

Trail of the Chosen: VIP Points

The VIP chain grants 6 energy for every 500 VIP points up to 5,000. After that, the 6,000 and 7,000 tiers give 12 energy each, for a maximum of 84 energy. Since the Battle Pass alone gives 1,600 VIP points, Battle Pass buyers start with 18 of that already unlocked.

Tome of Greed, Grail of Generosity and Upgrade Order

All three relics cost event energy, so each crystal you put into them is a crystal that is not going somewhere else. Here is what the other two relics do:

Tome of Greed (15 levels, 840 energy)

• Adds 100 Valor Coins per crystal you spend, per Tome level (Level 5 = +500 per crystal, Level 15 = +1,500)
• The bonus applies to energy spent on relic upgrades and to crystal exchanges
• Upgrading the Tome all the way to Level 15 earns 756,000 Valor Coins on its own, because each level is paid at the bonus of the level before it

Grail of Generosity (18 levels, 1,250 energy)

• Lowers the Altar of Fate spin cost by 100 coins per level
• Level 1: 2,700 coins per spin; Level 10: 1,800; Level 18: 1,000
• The energy you spend on it still earns the Tome bonus

Upgrade the Tome first. Every crystal spent after the Tome is upgraded earns more coins, so the order matters. For example, a Battle Pass player with 50,000 emeralds spent has 626 energy. Going straight for the Amulet (Tome 1, Amulet 20) reaches Chapter 5, and exchanging the 96 leftover crystals ends at 260,600 Valor Coins. Taking the Tome to Level 5 first stops at Chapter 4, just 4 energy short of Chapter 5, yet exchanging the 206 leftover crystals ends at 496,000 Valor Coins. In other words, the highest chapter is not always the most coins.

Energy Crystal Exchange

Once your relics and chapters are set, any leftover crystals can be exchanged for Valor Coins. The base rate is 500 coins per crystal, plus the Tome bonus. For instance, a Level 5 Tome gives 1,000 coins per crystal, while a Level 10 Tome gives 1,500.

The All button in the calculator exchanges every crystal left after relic upgrades. Crystals you never spend earn nothing, since at the end of the event they only turn into Hero Resource Chests (2 crystals per chest).

Valor Coin Sources Tracked by the Eva Event Optimizer

• Official gifts: 8,500 per gift, up to 25,500
• Chapters: 200,000 for all six
• Tome bonus on energy spent on the Tome, Amulet and Grail
• Exchanged crystals: 500 + Tome bonus each
• Hero upgrade quests: eight chains (Call of Elements, Steps of Greatness, Forge of Power, Artifact Dominion, Runes of Fate, New Edge, Call of the Stars and Art of Combat) worth up to 150,800 combined

Each source is shown on its own line in Step 3, so you can see exactly where your coins come from before adding them up.

Eva Soul Stones and Star Levels

Each Altar of Fate spin gives 3.6 soul stones on average. That means maxing Eva takes about 175 spins, or 472,500 Valor Coins with a Level 1 Grail. With a Level 18 Grail, the same 175 spins cost only 175,000 coins. The optimizer divides your total coins by your spin cost, converts that into stones, and then shows your star level along with how many coins you still need for the next one.

Sapphire Medallions

Example: With the Battle Pass, all 3 gifts, all six chapters and 200 spins, you would collect 4 + 5 + 20 + 35 + 20 = 84 medallions at a 10% drop rate, or 94 at 15%. Since the drop rate has not been officially confirmed, plan around the 10% figure.

How to Use the Calculator

Step 1: Energy Collection

• Pick the Archdemon damage tier you can reach (750M by default)
• Select how many dev gifts you have received
• Choose Yes or No for the Battle Pass
• Pick your Emerald Flow, Sapphire Fever and VIP tiers
• Add any energy from other sources

Step 2: Relics and Chapters

• Set your Tome of Greed and Grail of Generosity levels
• Let the Amulet auto-pick your highest chapter, or set it by hand
• Exchange leftover crystals for Valor Coins with the All button

Steps 3 to 5: Coins, Medallions and Soul Stones

• Mark the hero upgrade quests you have completed
• Check your medallion total at both drop rates
• See your spins, soul stones and final Eva star level

Final Thoughts

Freedom Protocol rewards planning more than any recent event. Between the new Amulet, the tighter free energy and the Tome’s coin bonus, a few small choices can swing your final Valor Coin total by tens of thousands. So run your numbers in the Eva Event Optimizer before you spend, upgrade the Tome early, and exchange whatever energy is left once your chapters are done.
