Hero Wars Summer Festival

Hero Wars Summer Festival — Full Reference

The Hero Wars Summer Festival is one of the game's most lucrative annual events — on par with Winterfest, arguably better. This year it goes guild-focused, and here's everything you need before day one: the new Guild Beehive, the island generators, the full coin shop, the battle pass and the rankings.

What's new this year

Three changes reshape how you play the Festival — one structural, one that costs you resources, and one skin you only get this once.

Structural
Guild Beehive

The Guild Beehive

The Festival goes guild-focused. Instead of only your own hive, you and your guildmates grow a shared Guild Beehive together — the same idea as the Winterfest Tree or the Area of Conquest Castle. Everyone contributes, everyone shares the payout, so align on priorities before day one.

Resource hit
Emerald

No Emerald generator

This year's island generators drop Runes, Skin Stone Chests, Bottled Energy, Artifact Chests and Honey — no Emeralds. Tournament of Power also stopped paying Emeralds in the July patch. Free-to-play and low-spend players feel this most, so bank Emeralds and Energy early.

Skin
Guus Solar Skin

Guus — Solar Skin

Nexters confirmed Guus gets this year's Solar Skin, with an Armor bonus. Solar Skins are Summer Festival exclusive — they never show up in any other shop, event or bundle. If you run Guus, this is your one shot until next summer.

⚠ Guild lockdown — don't get caught

Guild movement freezes during the event

Because the Beehive is now a shared guild objective, guild movement locks down. Make any guild swaps, server transfers or roster cleanup before it starts.

July 6 · 2:00 AM UTC → July 14 · 2:00 AM UTC
  • Can't leave a guild
  • Can't kick or auto-remove inactive members
  • Can't disband a guild
  • Joining a guild is still allowed — guildless players can still jump in
How it works

The honey loop

Everything flows through Honey Energy. You earn it, you feed it to the hive, and the shop currency drops out the other side.

Earning & spending

You earn Honey Energy from event quests, daily tasks and one island generator, then spend it opening the Beehive. Every opening has a shot at Summer Festival Coins — roughly a 10% chance — which you spend in the shop.

Spend before it's gone

Coins do not carry over. No rollover, no second chance — spend them before the Festival closes. Any leftover Honey Energy converts automatically into Beekeeper's Boxes when the event ends.

Returning mechanics worth knowing

Summer Dolls

Bonus drops from Beehive opens and the shop, packed with random rewards — Chaos Cores, Runes, Pet Eggs, Skin Stones, Gold and more.

Hidden bee mini-game

Tucked into the Campaign map each day. Easy bonus Honey — quick to do, easy to forget.

Beekeeper's Boxes

Leftover Honey Energy doesn't vanish — it converts into these boxes automatically at the end of the event.

Solar Skin exclusivity

Solar Skins only appear during Summer Festival. Miss it and you wait a full year for another shot.

Mysterious Island

Island generators

One generator unlocks per day. Invest as soon as each opens — the rewards bank safely and accumulate for the rest of the event.

Left = total output over the event · Right = one-time investment to switch it on.

The engine room

Bee hive

Feed Honey Energy to open the hive (≈250 energy per opening). Each opening also has a ~10% shot at a Festival Coin.

Average rewards per opening

Official data

Reading the averages

These are per-opening averages, so fractional values are normal — a Festival Coin every ~10 opens, an Absolute Artifact Chest roughly every ~1.7. Titan Skin Stones and Essence of the Elements are the bulk-volume drops that stack up fastest.

Spend your coins

Festival shop

Every item is priced in Summer Festival Coins. Search by name or filter by type — the Solar skins are the headline buys at just 2 coins each.

Hive level rewards

Battle pass

Rewards unlock as the hive levels up. The paid track's headline is Guus's Solar Skin (the Armor-bonus skin). Free and paid contents below.

Leaderboards

Rewards pay out by final rank, based on Honey Energy spent at the hive. Both a personal and a guild ladder reward the top players.
