Kendle Full Build Guide 2026
Everything has been building to this. The first look, the skills breakdown, the relics, the teams, the counters — now it all comes together. This is the Kendle Full Build Guide, covering everything you need to run the Chaos Queen at her best in Hero Wars: Alliance.
Kendle is a backline mage from the Way of Chaos, and her defining mechanic is something the game has never seen quite like this: critical pure damage. Pure damage already bypasses Armor and Magic Defense. Add critical hits on top of that, and you have a completely different conversation. Rather than simply throwing spells and hoping for impact, she is a pressure engine built around sacrifice, Magical Critical Hit Chance, Health manipulation, and team-wide offensive amplification — one that hurts herself, burns allies, and turns that suffering into damage that scales with the right support around her.
Kendle Skills Breakdown
Every part of Kendle’s kit follows the same philosophy: controlled suffering becomes power. Understanding each skill is therefore essential before discussing how to build her.
Lava Kiss
Kendle targets the enemy with the lowest Health, deals magic damage, then continues applying pure damage every second while sacrificing her own Health — as long as she stays above thirty percent. This gives her real execution pressure. Rather than hitting and moving on, she hunts a weakened target until it falls. Because the follow-up damage is pure damage, traditional Armor and Magic Defense provide no answer.
Sweet Torture
This is the heart of Chaos synergy. Kendle increases Magical Critical Hit Chance for herself and all allies who have taken damage from their own skills or allied skills since the last activation. The team suffers, but that suffering becomes a weapon. Heroes like Xe’Sha and Aidan naturally feed this mechanic through their own sacrifice loops, while Kendle herself also activates it through her Health-cost skills. This is why she creates an ecosystem rather than just being another damage dealer.
Friendly Fire
Kendle ignites the ally with the highest percentage of maximum Health. That ally loses Health over time, but whenever they attack, Kendle deals extra pure damage to their target. As a result, fast attackers, durable allies, and heroes protected by strong healing keep this effect active longer, generating more pure damage moments throughout the fight. She essentially turns an ally into an extension of her own pressure.
Purge by Pain
Kendle’s basic attacks sacrifice her own Health to deal pure damage. With the legendary effect, that pure damage can critically hit based on her Magical Critical Hit Chance. This is the mechanic that makes her truly special. Sacrifice creates crit chance, crit chance empowers pure damage, and pure damage consequently becomes a win condition. The full loop is contained right here in her basic attack.
Kendle Relics Guide
The relics do not just add numbers — they extend and reinforce the entire kit in a way that makes Kendle feel even more purpose-built around this philosophy.
Agony Surge
Every ten seconds, if Kendle is above thirty percent Health, she sacrifices Health and deals pure damage to a ranged enemy. If she falls below thirty percent, however, the relic helps restore her instead. This keeps her in the fight and adds a constant damage cycle that never stops running.
Lava Kiss Relic
This relic restores Health before activation and increases Magical Critical Hit Chance. As a result, her main offensive sequence becomes both safer and more dangerous at the same time — exactly the balance she needs to sustain the sacrifice loop.
Purge by Pain Relic
Allied pure damage can now critically hit as well. This is the relic that opens the door to entire team builds centered on critical pure damage — it is no longer just about Kendle herself. Consequently, this one changes how you think about her team composition entirely.
Reaping Hour
Kendle’s pure damage increases whenever allies take damage from their own skills or allied skills. This rewards exactly the sacrifice loops that Chaos teams already want to create, stacking naturally as the fight develops.
Kendle Full Build Guide: Skills, Glyphs and Artifacts
Skills and Sparks of Power
Skills must be maxed — no debate. Kendle’s kit is too interconnected to leave any piece unfinished. A weak link in any skill reduces the value of the entire engine. Similarly, Sparks of Power should be maxed because she needs strong base stats to make these mechanics shine at their full potential.
Skins
Kendle currently has her default Intelligence skin, and it should be maxed. Intelligence improves her main damage scaling and gives her the stability she needs to keep sacrificing without collapsing.
Glyphs Priority
Artifacts Priority
Talisman
The Talisman of Torture gives Intelligence with Armor. This is very useful in her current state because she still lacks extra skins and needs more stability while maintaining her offensive direction. Overall, it is a solid choice that covers multiple needs at once.
Best Teams for Kendle
One of the key takeaways from this Kendle Full Build Guide is that she is not locked into one team idea. She connects with healing, control, Magical Critical Hit Chance, pure damage, and battlefield disruption. These three compositions show different ways to run her effectively.
Team 1 — Chaos and Healing Engine
Byrna, Maya, Lian, Kendle, Aidan
Byrna brings Magical Critical Hit Chance alongside healing and energy support. Maya adds poison pressure and healing. Lian contributes control and pure damage interactions, while Aidan covers sacrifice, shields, sustain, and maximum Health manipulation. In the middle of all of this, Kendle shines as the damage amplifier and pure damage threat.
Team 2 — Adaptive Disruption
Maya, Cascade, Lian, Kendle, Aidan
Cascade changes the rhythm here. His weapon artifact support brings Magic Penetration or Armor Penetration, helping the non-pure parts of the team hit harder while Kendle keeps applying pure damage. Furthermore, Cascade brings adaptive damage — he reads enemy defenses and attacks through the most effective damage type. Pressure therefore comes from many directions, making this team harder to stabilize against.
Team 3 — Full Sacrifice Trio
Electra, Xe’Sha, Kendle, Aidan, Miu
This one is direct and intense. Electra manipulates enemy targeting and creates openings. Xe’Sha, Aidan, and Kendle form a sacrifice trio where Health manipulation feeds scaling, sacrifice feeds pressure, and healing keeps the engine running. Meanwhile, Miu adds strong magical critical damage and blindness — enemies are pressured toward Electra while also risking missed attacks. Chaotic, explosive, and visually incredible in battle.
Kendle Counters
Every hero has counters, and Kendle is no exception. Knowing what threatens her helps you protect her placement and roster decisions.
Phobos can be a serious problem. His paralysis stops Kendle from using skills properly, especially after his relic upgrades, which disrupts the entire sacrifice loop before it starts generating value.
Cornelius is also dangerous because he hunts Intelligence heroes with Monolith and can potentially remove Kendle before her mechanics truly develop. She needs time to get the loop going, and Cornelius punishes that window directly.
Sometimes, however, the best counter is simply speed. If a fast Satori or Iris composition deletes the team before Kendle’s sacrifice loops start scaling, her critical pure damage may never get the time it needs. She rewards patience in the fight, but that patience can be denied entirely.

There is still much more to test — more teams to refine, more counters to explore, and more mechanics to discover as the meta develops. Still, one thing is already clear: Kendle brings something genuinely new to the game, and that makes her one of the most exciting heroes released in a long time.
