Metida Supertitan Build | Hero Wars Alliance
Before you plan your Metida Supertitan Build, there’s one thing you need to understand first: what her real job actually is. We spent hours testing Metida in Hero Wars Alliance, and the answer surprised a lot of people. She isn’t here simply to post huge damage numbers. Instead, Metida is a Control Supertitan, and that changes how you should think about developing her.
Our complete build guide is on the way. However, we wanted to share the most important lesson from our testing first, because it shapes every decision you’ll make with her.
How We Tested for This Metida Supertitan Build
We didn’t just max her out and run a few battles. Instead, we raised her step by step and tested her at different levels, with different Artifact development and at several stages of her Health Skin. On top of that, we ran her through multiple compositions across every Element.
Throughout all of those tests, one conclusion kept coming back. Before you decide how to develop her, you have to understand her role on the battlefield.
Metida’s Real Role: Control, Not Raw Damage
Metida is a Supertitan, but she is not Solaris or Araji. Does she deal damage? Absolutely, and in some battles she can actually deal quite a lot. Still, damage is not the point of this Titan.
When we say Control, we don’t only mean her Crystal Vortex. Rather, we mean the way she reshapes the entire battle around her. That’s also why she can be extremely interesting for midgame players. If you’re still developing your Titan teams and you’re missing a properly built elemental Titan, Metida can potentially fill that slot in certain compositions and immediately bring real value.
Supreme Harmony: How Metida Changes Each Element
The key to Metida is Supreme Harmony. This skill lasts nine seconds, and its effect changes depending on which Titans are still surviving beside her. Here’s a quick overview before we break down each Element.
Fire: Finally, Real Healing
Fire is probably the easiest example. It has tremendous offensive power, yet sustain has always been one of its problems. For every surviving Fire Titan, Metida heals all allies every second for the duration of Supreme Harmony.
So when you watch Fire battles with her, don’t focus on Metida alone. Instead, keep an eye on the team’s Health and on how long those Fire Titans stay alive. That’s the piece Fire has desperately needed.
Earth: Speed That Outlives Angus
For every surviving Earth Titan, Metida increases the speed of all allies by 10%. You might fairly ask why Earth needs speed when it was already incredibly powerful. In our opinion, though, Earth has relied enormously on Angus. When he’s doing his job, Earth is terrifying; when he falls, the rest of the team can collapse shortly afterward.
With Metida in the lineup, that dynamic shifts. The extra speed helps Angus while he’s alive, and it also keeps the remaining Titans cycling faster if he eventually goes down. More speed means more actions, faster Energy generation through those actions and therefore more chances to reach their skills. As a result, the pace of the whole Earth team is what to watch.
Water: Pressure to Finish Battles
For every surviving Water Titan, Supreme Harmony increases the Physical Attack of all allies. This one was very noticeable in our testing. We’ve all seen Water battles that seem to last forever, where the team survives beautifully but can’t finish in time and ends up losing to the timer.
Metida gives Water extra offensive pressure. With more Physical Attack, those Titans push through the enemy faster, and consequently some battles that used to drag on become much quicker. Once again, the real story is what happens to the whole Water team because she’s there.
Elarite: The Missing Piece
Elarite is where we have to pause. Unlike Fire, Earth and Water, we can’t show you the complete picture yet, because the Elarite faction is still missing one extremely important piece: the Summoner.
What we do know is that for every surviving Elarite Titan, Metida applies an effect to one ally, prioritizing Titans with the highest Attack. Whenever that ally deals damage, Metida lands an additional hit. That’s already interesting on its own. Even so, we’re not going to pretend we know how powerful the final Elarite composition will be. Only once the Summoner arrives will we see how all of these mechanics work together as a complete team.
Crystal Vortex: Control at Its Finest
Her ultimate is honestly impressive, and sometimes it’s pretty funny to watch. Metida summons a whirlwind for five seconds that traps the central enemy. During that time, it deals damage every second and drags the target around the battlefield. Meanwhile, the trapped enemy cannot move, attack or use skills.
That said, Crystal Vortex also leads straight into one of the biggest debates around Metida right now.
The Health Skin Debate in Your Metida Supertitan Build
Some players are saying you should forget the Health Skin. Their reasoning is that more Health means slower Energy generation from incoming damage, which could mean fewer Crystal Vortex activations. And to be fair, increasing Health can sometimes delay a Titan’s first skill, since they need to take more damage to generate the same Energy.
So we tested it: without the Skin, partially developed, further developed, with different Artifact development and across different teams. After all of that, our conclusion is clear. You cannot plan a Metida Supertitan Build around Crystal Vortex alone. Her ultimate is fantastic Control, but it isn’t the only thing that defines her.
Supreme Harmony is a massive part of her value. Fire needs her alive for healing, Earth needs her alive for speed, and Water needs her alive for Physical Attack. With Elarite, we haven’t even seen the full potential yet. Now ask yourself: what happens if Metida dies because you focused entirely on reaching Crystal Vortex a little faster? Everything she was bringing to that composition disappears with her.
For that reason, we’re comfortable sharing one small piece of our upcoming guide now. In our view, her Health Skin is important. Yes, it can affect how quickly she reaches Crystal Vortex, and we’re not ignoring that. Ultimately, though, Metida needs to stay alive to keep doing what she was designed to do.
The Bigger Picture: What Control Really Means
This is the biggest takeaway from our testing. Control with Metida isn’t only about trapping someone inside a whirlwind. It’s also about giving Fire healing, accelerating Earth and handing Water more Physical Attack. Once the Summoner arrives and the Elarite faction comes together, that Control could become even more interesting.
In short, she changes the rhythm of the battle simply by standing in the composition. So don’t judge her only by her damage, and don’t judge her development only by how quickly she uses Crystal Vortex. Instead, watch what happens to the Titans around her, because that’s where she becomes really interesting.
We’ve tested her Skin, her Artifacts, different development levels and different compositions, and we’re putting everything together for the complete development order. Until then, keep the core idea in mind: Metida is here to control and change the battle around her. With Fire, Water and Earth, we’re already seeing what that means. With Elarite, we’re still waiting for the final piece of the puzzle.
