This Mead Festival Shop Guide starts with a warning: the shop is not where your Asgard Mead belongs first. At first glance, the Mead Festival shop looks like a treasure room, packed with Gifts of Dominion, Catalysts, an Absolute Elemental Spirit Summoning Sphere and huge stacks of skin stones and Titan resources. However, almost everything on that shelf comes back again and again in regular hero and Titan events, while the currency it costs only shows up during this festival.

So we are going through this shop the same way we go through every event shop. First, where Mead should go before the shop. Then, what is genuinely worth it, what is hard to justify, and finally the one mistake that quietly cuts your leftover Mead in half.

Generators Come Before the Shop

The Robin Soul Stone generator on the October Mysterious Island runs on Asgard Mead at its higher levels. Because the shop also sells Robin’s stones, we can compare the two directly, and the result is not close.

Even the most expensive generator level beats the shop. Therefore, every Mead the generator can still use belongs there, and the shop only becomes a question with whatever is left afterward. Keep in mind that these generator numbers assume you invested from the first period; upgrading later pays slightly less, although it still beats the shop’s fifty stones per Mead.

Robin’s generator is also not the only one that takes Mead. The Great Enchantment Rune, Bottled Energy and Chaos Particle generators cost 3, 4 and 5 Mead at levels 3 to 5 as well. While they are still running, they pay out far more per Mead than the shop does for the same items:

To be fair, a few numbers here look friendlier. Skin stone bundles are 25 instead of 20, Titan Potion is 25,000 instead of 20,000, Essence is 50,000 instead of 40,000, and the Gifts carry smaller price tags. Still, those are different currencies, and that changes everything. Sapphire Medallions arrive with every hero and Titan event, whereas Asgard Mead only shows up during this festival and in small amounts. In other words, a lower number in Mead is not a discount.

So the honest verdict for this whole group is simple: worth it if you actually need the item right now. For example, if a hero is sitting at a rank wall waiting on a Gift of Dominion, or your Spirit Totem is mid-push and short on Catalysts, leftover Mead here makes sense. Otherwise, there is no urgency, because these items will be back.

The Gear: Only for a Real Gear Wall

The same logic covers the gear row. Each piece below only earns Mead when it is the exact item one of your heroes is stuck behind. Gear bought for a wall you do not have is just a warehouse of items you will never use.

What Is Actually Unique Here

Only a handful of items are not sold in those regular hero and Titan shops. Even so, being unique does not automatically make them worth your Mead.

Robin Soul Stones and the Absolute Sphere

Robin’s stones are the obvious unique item, but as the first table showed, the generator does that job better. Consequently, the 1,000-stone pack is really for players spending to push Robin toward six stars. Meanwhile, the Absolute Elemental Spirit Summoning Sphere is the rarer find, since the Path of Legends shop carried the regular Elemental version instead. At seventy Mead, though, it sits out of reach for nearly every free-to-play account.

Absolute Artifact Chests: Not Worth It

A thousand Absolute Artifact Chests looks like a big, rare bundle. In reality, this one is simply not worth it. Forty Mead is far more than most accounts will ever have spare, and pulling that much away from Robin for these chests is very hard to justify.

Pet Potion: Think Before Buying

Pet Potion carries a little extra weight right now, since Robin needs levels like any new pet. Even then, it deserves a second thought. Running Pet Adventure 13 hands out this much Pet Potion in no time, so spending scarce Mead on it is hard to justify for anyone already doing those adventures.

The Exchange Trap: Never Let Mead Convert

This is the most important point in the entire Mead Festival Shop Guide. When the festival ends, any Asgard Mead left unspent is exchanged automatically, and the rate is much worse than what the shop itself offers.

Same chest, double the amount. As a result, Mead left sitting until the exchange loses half of its value. Premium currency is the last thing that should ever be handed to an automatic conversion, because spending it yourself always beats letting the game convert it for you.

Fortunately, there is a little extra time to get this right, since the shop stays open for one day after the event ends. Even with generator plans running to the last minute, there is still a window to place those final few Mead deliberately: on something you actually need, or at the very least on Harunian Chests at the shop’s rate.

Final Thoughts

Put together, this Mead Festival Shop Guide comes down to four steps:

• Generators first. Every Mead they can still use belongs there, because Robin’s generator beats the shop’s stone price at every level.
• Familiar items only if needed. Gifts, Catalysts, runes, skin stones, Titan resources and gear all come back in hero and Titan events.
• Unique items are mostly for spenders. The Absolute Artifact Chests are not worth it, and Pet Potion deserves a second thought thanks to Pet Adventure 13.
• Never let Mead convert. Even if it only ends up as Harunian Chests, Mead is worth twice as much spent in the shop as it is exchanged.

Mead is the rarest thing this festival gives us. Treated that way, it leaves both Robin and your account stronger.
